Biography
I am a professional illustrator and graphic designer. I live in Chicago with my wife and two cats. In 2009 I fell of my bike and broke my elbow. When working from home I like to take a break by taking my sketchbook to one of the many awesome coffee shops in my neighborhood. I load up on caffeine and try to sneakily draw the local patrons.
I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon. I've been desiging and illustrating professionally since graduating NIU in 2004 with a BFA in illustration. I've worked on a great variety of projects including magazine layout, packaging design, product development, brochures, large format, my own wedding invitations, and other personal projects that keep the creative juices flowing.
Lately, I've been working at a cool up-and-coming Chicago T-shirt company called Transit Tees. While working there I've been an art director, production artist, illustrator and graphic designer.
