Kei Acedera

Biography

Kei specializes in concept art, visual development, and character design for film. Her illustrations and paintings never fail to bring a smile to people’s faces.

What Kei loves most about being an independent artist: "The creative freedom, definitely. I have this constant desire to create and to try new things in my art, and it’s so much easier to do that when you know that there’s no one looking over your shoulder withholding their approval. That freedom allows an artist to have the courage to explore and therefore become even more creative."

Kei lives and works in Toronto, where her favorite sources of inspiration are Fashion Week, the Toronto International Film Festival, nature, and music of all kinds.
