Biography
Sharon Dorsey (formerly Bell) likes to create paintings and sculptures that make people smile or laugh or think nice thoughts. And sometimes she likes to create paintings and sculptures that make people uncomfortable or confused or want to back away slowly. Her artistic heroes, not surprisingly, include Maurice Sendak, Lane Smith, Tim Burton and Dave McKean among others. Sharon lives in the middle of Columbus with her two unique children, some thrill-seeking friends and a bunch of stinky animals.
