WaMen

WaMen were resin figures created by Karo Garo and produced by Cardboard Spaceship, released mid-2009. Previously these had been produced by Karo in very small runs.

Even the finest of Japanese artisans make their so called, mistakes. This time, the mistake happened as a creation of a strange and adorable Japanese-style life form. We call it "WaMen". They run around all over the place, having characteristics far free from the old-fashioned "Japanese flavor". The innocent and pop world ingenerated by Japanese cultural inspirated characters like "Bonsai" and "Kakejiku". Now growing rapidly! We also use real plants and flowers to get that "touch of life!"
