Biography
Scott Wetterschneider is a Brooklyn educated toy designer. A graduate of Pratt Institute, he earned a BFA in Illustration then became an old-school game developer. As a production artist and art director, he pushed pixels and polygons on dozens of games for a variety of companies. For 10 years, Scott worked on a broad spectrum of titles, from Ultima 9 to Guitar Hero, from Hellgate: London to Mass Effect to Fallout 3.

Then, in 2003, Scott was bitten by the toy bug and everything changed. He rolled his digital skill set together with his industrial design background and set out to find his way in the toy industry. Working for Mattel, Hasbro, Spin Master, and Sideshow, he learned the ins and outs of engineering, sculpting, rapid-prototyping, manufacturing, and design.

Now he's focused on working with fine artists, illustrators, comic creators, game developers, and animators to produce high quality collectibles for fans and art lovers. He's sculpted a number of standout pieces - Gary Taxali's "Oh Oh" and "Oh No", Jeff Soto's "The Seeker", Mike Sutfin's "MadBattleMan", Mike Giant's "Toypunk", Ashley Wood's "Bertie", Superdeux's "I Wish I Could Talk" and Ferg's "Squadt".

Scott is the Creative Director at Shinbone Creative, a studio that specializes in addictive designer toys, engaging character design and outrageous digital illustration.
