Monica Calvo was born in the northern part of Spain, and actually living in Madrid. She had been working in advertisement agencies for 4 years until 5 years ago she decided, with 2 other partners, to create her own design studio, (Organicfields) and to become what she always wanted, a child's book illustrator. The studio has work with the biggest agencies and clients in Spain and also has collaborated in projects with Canada, Japan and England.
