Written by James Jarvis and published by Silas the release of the comic book was produced to coincide with JJs first solo exhibition in Tokyo during the late summer of 2000. WOP 1 introduces the Policeman character and Randy Kak, through two short stories. There is also a section of notes expanding on The World of Pain at the end of the book. 32 pages and full colour throughout from the first edition.
