Biography
Bios always sound so morbid, like a eulogy. It's true. The only difference is the bit where they talk about the survivors. Born and raised in rural Ohio, I landed on to the scene in Columbus, armed with a $12,000 scholarship to CCAD. In 1997 I graduated from there with a BFA I continue to paint, write and do commission work for a variety of folks, ccasionally gathering enough work for a show.
Something I found out early on is you can't be fixed into one box. The modern art hussle incompasses both commercial work as well as gallery time. Together the lines blur which is how it should be. I generate tactile things you can wear, read and hang on a wall.
